American Snow and Ice has partnered up with The Weather Pro’s to be able to get detailed weather reports and timing of expected winter events.
Being able to be proactive and have real time weather updates before and during a winter event allows our team to be ready and make critical decisions on how we will set up to handle each event. As we all know the forecasted weather is not always what we actually receive, this is where the real time weather reports have become crucial to building a good snow plan.
Weather Works
Another Company American snow and Ice has partnered up with is Weather Works Certified reports. Weather Works has been reporting snow fall totals for the past 20 plus years and has become one of the industry leaders in Weather Reports. After each Winter Event their Team builds a comprehensive report for each zip code. This will include the start and finish time of the event a full weather report for the day and the total snow fall for the event. We send a copy of this report to all our clients with every invoice, so you know what happened that day.
Yeti Snow Management
Yeti is a mobile app that was designed specifically for snow reporting in real time. Every person on our Team uses Yeti to record the current conditions of every property we service. We will take before and after pictures and record the temperature – wind – snow fall amounts and the amount of deicing products used.
All the properties we service are Geo fenced so we can see in real time where our Team is on their plowing route. We can tell when a property is started or is completed with out having to call the drivers. This allows us to give our clients real-time information about each of their properties. Once the property is completed, we can build a detailed report with pictures to show our clients their property.
Yeti has also become a great tool when we do have to deal with a slip and fall. Normally once we hand the insurance company or attorney a detailed report of that day from Yeti they seem to re-think making a claim.
